Because each memorial keepsake is completely unique and custom-made, The Sacred Grief Company does not accept returns, exchanges, or remakes of any kind. Every piece is carefully handcrafted, which means beautiful variations-such as tiny air bubbles or subtle mold lines-are a natural, expected part of the artisanal process rather than a machine-flawless defect. However, your peace of mind is incredibly important to me. If you have any concerns about your piece upon delivery, please reach out so I can work with you to help find a solution within a reasonable time frame. 

Our resin and breastmilk keepsakes are crafted to be cherished for a lifetime, and proper care ensures they stay beautifully preserved. To protect your piece, always remove it before washing your hands, showering, or swimming, as moisture can compromise the item. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat, which can weaken resin and cause delicate breastmilk inclusions to discolor over time. Always take off your jewelry before applying hand sanitizer, perfumes, lotions, or using harsh cleaning products to prevent the surface from becoming dull or rough. When you aren't wearing your keepsake, store it safely in a cool, dark, airtight container to protect its shine and finish. 

Our jewelry is crafted with a high-quality .925 sterling silver core, available in solid sterling silver, gold dipped, or rose gold dipped finishes. Because pure silver is too soft, a touch of copper is added for strength, which means sterling silver can naturally tarnish, and plated finishes will eventually wear down to expose the silver underneath depending on your body chemistry and wear. To keep your pieces looking beautiful for years, wear them often (it actually prevents tarnish!), keep them away from water, perfumes, and harsh chemicals, and store them in an airtight container out of sunlight when not in use. If tarnish does appear, simply buff it away gently with a soft polishing cloth.
