Frequently Asked Questions

I know it can be overwhelming.  Here are the basics-

• First, pick out a piece of jewelry or another item that you love. (I am always      updating my inventory & website. IF you have an idea for a memorial item and do not see it on my website, please email me! I want to help make all your keepsake dreams come true!)

• Second, checkout! Please include your color choice in the 'notes' box at checkout!

• I will receive your order via email & you will receive a copy as well!  
   
• 24 hours after I receive your order, (on my end) I will order the jewelry you picked      out!  On your end, mail me your ashes as soon as possible. This way your ashes & jewelry should get to me at the same time, allowing me to begin in a timely manner. Directions on HOW to mail them are below.  

•  After I receive your ashes, (or other items) I will begin working on your keepsake!

• Lastly, I will mail your beautiful, new item (along with any ashes I have leftover), back to you!

Yes.  In the notes section at checkout, please let me know you will be dropping them off to me.  I will reach out to you with further instructions!

  Please use the following instructions. Please also follow these instructions for hair or fur:

• You will receive a copy of your order to the email address you enter at checkout.      Please check your spam or junk mailboxes if you do not see it. Please email me right away if there is a problem.

• I only need 1/2 teaspoon of ashes. Please place them (or hair/fur) in a Ziplock      bag and place that bag in another so that the ashes are double bagged.  Please label BOTH bags with the name that is on the order form. This is very important.

I accept online orders only.  Once you place an order, I keep your order number attached to your ashes or other items.  Essentially, your online order ensures that your order is all together & safe.

Each order takes between 6-8 weeks from the time I receive your ashes or other items (not from the time you place your order).  Each item is personally hand made by me so it all depends on the volume of orders I have. If it is going to be longer, I will be in contact with you!  I never want you to worry about your precious items!  

*IF you truly need your item before a special event or by a specific date, please reach out to me so I can arrange my schedule to try and accommodate that.

I will be happy to work with you up to the first 6 months after purchase. Damage due to improper care such as water or chemical damage may require additional cost. Please contact me if you have any concerns about your jewelry.

This is very normal!  All ashes are different and when melted in glass, some give off more carbon than others.  This does not hurt your stone but rather adds character!  However, if you are unhappy with the bubble, I would be happy to *try* to re-melt it (for a fee) and see if I can squeeze it out. I cannot guarantee that it will go away, though, and in fact, another one may pop up.  I also can’t control how ashes are patterned inside the glass. This is what also makes each piece unique. Ashes vary in color (from dark gray to almost black to white). Some come in larger sizes, and some come like a very fine powder. They all swirl differently during the creation process and turn out (I believe) exactly how they are meant to.  Think of your ring as a special gift from your loved one.

Unfortunately, I don’t offer refunds after 24 hours.  Please make sure you know what you want and are able to send your ashes before placing your order!

 I do not offer exchanges for other items once your order has been placed.  

Any changes to your order must be made within 24 hours by email.  After 24 hours, no changes or refunds will be accepted.  

Please keep in mind that if you are looking at glass blends that have multiple colors in them, they will turn out different every time. I cannot control how the glass melts.  Some items have no back plat, allowing light to pass through while others have backs on them making the color a little darker.  Please take this into consideration before placing an order.  I do offer samples of all my glass blends.  This is especially nice if you want to custom blend your own creation.  Because I offer these samples, I do not offer refunds or remake stones due to color.  When you order, please use specific color names that I offer. Again, I offer samples to prevent anyone from being disappointed. If you are wanting a custom blend of colors, I highly recommend ordering a sample to see how they all will melt together first. As the glass melter, I follow your color instructions (in the "notes" box at checkout), but I am not responsible for color choice.
